I noticed again that a relatively new member recently came on and was immediately critical of one of our members that has posted a lot. Guys like that don't realize that some of us enjoy conversing here, batting around hitting ideas (pun intended), debating controversial calls, remembering teammates, friends, and on field competitors that have passed, and sometimes battling 'controversial and adversarial' posters. (Read Dirty/Gary19, Einstein, Tim Millette). Some of us have been posting for 10 years or more, so 2000-3000 posts isn't really all that many. I have many friends now that I met on the field and we realized we had been talking here for a long time. It has been fun.
We are a unique community of players-playing well past our primes with tremendous passion to play the game we love. I have found that the camaraderie on the field is like nothing I have experienced in my career. I know I will continue to come here to relax, debate, dig a little at some people in fun, and enjoy the message board. Thanks, Dave (And SSUSA Staff), for the venue.

Well put Webbie! Sometimes you just have to make allowances and look at the overall experience.

I recall when I played a younger mans game there were many message boards. Whenever someone got banned from a board they waited a few weeks and registered again under a different board name. I always take relatively new posters who dwell on negativity with a grain of salt.
