Rocket Launcher
Update . I have been hitting a proto type balanced 27 version since early March and a " finished " EL version since first of April .

Both bats fairly hot out of wrapper . Newer version more so . But , as with any senior bat , you need to put some hits on them to get the performance you are looking for .

I have over 700 hits on proto bat . No signs of wear . Bat started really performing around 150 hits . It is now very hot . Distance wise I getting more consistent distance than the Big Cat or the Dudley . On your best swing. Right on the other two bats` sweet spots .You will get pretty close to the same distance .Launch maybe 10 feet more . But the Launcher achieved max distance a lot more consistently . Bat continued to get hotter and hotter past the 150 hit target "ala" the old original grey Combat .

The EL "finished product is at 300 hits and is outperforming the balanced version for max distance . By about another 10 feet . This is due to the huge end load . I would recommend dropping down an oz. from normal EL swing weights .

All in accordance to my experience and swing style . But, in my opinion , this bat is as advertised .

I normally use a 28 oz balanced bat. Would you recommend I stay with the 28 oz or go to a 27 oz for the Rocket Launcher balanced model. Thank you for the information.

BobB - I have also hit the proto type & production Rocket Launchers with Foothills. I would suggest going down in weight from whatever you were hitting before. We were hitting a mix of 44/375 balls.

All of the balanced Launcher's feel like they have a little end load feeling, meaning that they feel a little heavier bat than marked.

I personally like 27oz balanced bats & have found that Rocket Launchers just felt a little heavy. I have in my possession the 25oz & 26oz balanced Rocket Launchers. I hit them both this weekend & fell in love with the 25oz balanced model.

I weigh all of my bats, for both total weight & bat head weight. Both the 25 & 26oz balanced Launchers have similar, within a 1/10 of an ounce, bat head weight. So guess where the weight must be? I am getting more distance & a quicker snap of the bat using the 25oz Rocket Launcher.

It looks like a representative from Combat will be in Vegas letting people demo the Rocket Launchers. Hit them up or find me & try the bats. I will be playing 60M with the War Eagles & wearing #44.

I received my 28oz. EL today. Went right out and got 75 swings. The bat has good pop but felt heavier than my 28oz.13inch Dudley. The distance was about the same but the Dudley is well broken in. To the weight room I go or drop to a 27oz.
