| May 20, 2016 Nichol 2 posts | Women's 40 & Over Las Vegas Date Change I'm still looking for a response to my post (shown below) from April 18. I was looking at your website to confirm the dates for the LVSSA/SSUSA Master Championship in Las Vegas and it appears the date for Women’s 40 & Over has been move ahead 3 weeks into September. Several women in this age group still play A, B, C ball in USSSA and the crown jewel of women’s softball, the Women’s Major World Series, is September 16-18 in Orlando. Is the date listed on the Senior Softball site correct? Can you share the reasoning behind the change in date? |
| May 20, 2016 SSUSA Staff 3485 posts | The Women's 40-Masters playing dates (Friday-Sunday, September 16-18, 2016) have been published since December and are accurate on the SSUSA website ... The dates have not changed since our initial (and only) publication, but are different from the same session in Las Vegas last year ... The reasoning is quite simple: The Field availability opportunities for Las Vegas this year did not include the equivalent dates that matched the 2016 Championships date range ... |
