Sad to report the passing of Russ Simily
I am deeply saddened by the passing of Russ Simily. He was a great terrific teammate and a better friend. He will be remembered and missed by all that knew him. Rest in peace big guy. Below is the information for the funeral arrangements.

"Hi Everyone, This is Kari,Russ Simily's daughter.Thank you for all your condolences,Love and Prayers you have sent. My Mom hasn't even seen this, but will show her. My dad went peacefully in his sleep. He was supposed to play ball yesterday morning and never came down.I found him at 9:37 am Wednesday June 8th. Friday June 17th at 11 am at Reardon Mortuary in Simi Valley, we will have a memorial. We are respecting his wishes and he will be cremated. There will be a reception afterwards at the house, and would like everyone there to tell stories and share memories of my father. I will keep you updated if anything changes. Love to all of you and thank you for being there for my family. Feel free to call me at anytime. My number is 805-428-3805."

My condolences to the Russ Simily family. Russ was a good softball player, who never stopped talking or smiling. He will definitely be missed.
