Staying Close
It would be appreciated to learn well in advance of where the divisions for the Winter Nationals will play.Last year was the first year the 65aaa played in Naples. If I had known earlier I could and would have booked the team closer to the fields instead of in Ft.Myers.

We published TENTATIVE Field Assignments for the 2015 Winter National's on 09/02/2015 ... That was TWO MONTHS (and a day) ahead of the start of the event ... Check back here in early September this year and we will see what the entry list looks like, and MAYBE we can make an educated guess at that time ... Thanks!

Book hotel rooms and 3 different locations.
Then when you know where you are playing, you can cancel 2 of them. (doesn't cost you anything but time)
That's what I do.
Just my 2 cents worth.
Brett
PS. Always book a couple of extra rooms.
I book 8 at a time and still usually need another.

coop3636, oh, how the two hotels that lose 8 rooms close to the event must love you! I'm surprised that they would take your booking again the next year!

Omar ... Not to mention the teams who call the hotel(s) and are told "...We're sorry, the SSUSA block with the better rates is sold out..." ... This is not an advisable procedure ...

Omar, now that's funny. Millions of people cancel rooms everyday. It's all done online. No problems at all.

I always get better rates than the SSUSA rates.
Just use AARP and talk directly to the hotel.
And the locations will be out way before the tournament and the hotels will have plenty of time to sell the rooms.
Hotels will let you cancel rooms up until 4 pm of the day you arrive, so canceling them weeks before will be no problem.
I have been doing this for many years.
Hope this helps
Brett
