June 27, 2016 Rich33 Men's 50 45 posts | QUAD CITY TOURNEY Know TD can't control Mother Nature. But was anyone else upset that the 50AAA Losers Bracket didn't play on Sun ??? We paid full fee and lost (1) game maybe more. They could have altered game times, pitch counts, etc etc etc to let us play. Rich#33 CTA |
June 27, 2016 JimmyG Men's 55 52 posts | Rich, we played on Sunday in the winners bracket and the fields were in perfect shape. We started first game at 10. Only change they made was 55 minutes instead of 60. I think the main issue was that they had to be done for leagues later that day. |

June 30, 2016 JimmyG Men's 55 52 posts | I agree. I think you got shorted also. I think the fields were playable at 8, especially when compared to what everyone played on at the Brickyard. We all were shocked that the loser's bracket was cancelled. |

A soccer request, for example, on an all-weather field might have been turned away because of softball reservations. Also, some tourneys pay umps for arriving, staying, etc. to keep good relations for next tournament. In the case of poor rescheduling or premature decisions, then some return of fees might be appropriate. |
