| July 5, 2016 mad dog Men's 65 4191 posts | field assignments for worlds when will the field assignments for the divisors be out....looking to book early and would like to be within a reasonable distance to fields we will play at......65AA.....and don't tell me any place in vegas is good.....specially when it can take an hr or so just to go a few miles in their traffic there..... |

What surprises me that you're dropping down to play 40-Masters that weekend! ... We'll publish field guesses when we have better data ... Truthfully, the vast majority of the field inquiries have very little to do with hotel choices, and a whole lot to do with simple curiosity as to where they may play ... An equally vast majority of players stay where they have in the past, regardless of playing sites and especially if they can get more favorable room rates by using their frequent player cards from that hotel/casino ... |
| Aug. 9, 2016 mad dog Men's 65 4191 posts | hey you know i'm not one of the vast formality...LOL.....i always try to stay on the side of town closest to where the fields are...if i can.....hate the strip(not that much of a gambler)and the traffic..so mainly try for the east side...but if we end up on the west side playing....thats where i'll try for....as for the laptop....well your buddies let that cat out of the bag...LOL.....hope to see ya this time.....austin was a little problematic for me with a med emergency....and ya don't want to know what is coming up for me.... |

That and travel schedule conflicts will interfere for a while longer ... Terry is out of town now, and not back before I leave for Lansing (Northern's) Tuesday, then he's out again to Aurora (Rocky Mountain's) before I return ... Looks like sometime during the week of August 29th is an achievable timeline target for us to get together and hammer it out ... We'll see ... |
