Hitting off a tee w/ different bats
Probably a no brainier but will I get more distance off a ball hitting off a tee using a heavier bat?

Maybe.
The link above will explain some of the relationship between bat speed and batted ball speed/ distance

In general , increased momentum ( mass x velocity) will increase batted distance.

You need to maintain bat speed to ensure increased momentum when using a heavier bat.
