balls damaging bats??

I was wondering if any of you has any evidence or theories on practice (rubber) balls or for that matter different softballs doing damage to bats when hit for practice. I notice that if you go to a batting cage, many of the balls you are hitting are water soaked, some are extremely dried out and hard. It would seem that this could damage some of the composite bats. Any ideas???????

Trump makes a bp ball for composites, it is called bp-125 it is great for bp and will not beat your bats to death.

I was hesitant to reply, knowing that Trumpball would. Our 55+ team uses the bp-125's and they serve their purpose well. Of course, they don't travel as far ( they don't get lost a much) and don't absorb moisture.
