| Sept. 7, 2016 BruceinGa Men's 70 3233 posts | Hi Joey!! You should register with SPA and SSUSA. You will find more SPA tournaments in the SE compared to SSUSA. Anyway, these are the only two that require a card (except for Florida Half Century). I hope you are doing well and WELCOME TO THE OLD GUYS!! |

| Sept. 9, 2016 Cuervo13 33 posts | A few steps to follow 1. Buy senior stick 2. Roll or shave to the gills Senior stick. (Not necessary as the sticks have plutonium in them already. But it's more or less a common theme) 3. Buy mask if playing pitcher or the infield 4. Be prepared to play 2 day tourneys 5. Get legs in condition 6. Don't worry about taking batting practice (The sticks are ridiculous) 7. Take advice with a grain of salt I know I'm being a facetious sarcastic @#$! but I played a 40 an over this past weekend and it was nuts. I used a Dudley Lighting fresh out of the wrapper and was hitting missiles I've never hit even as a 30 year fresh out of the rock pile. Heard many conversations on how players were still putting in work on their sticks that are senior bats. Very sad!!!! that a 40 year or older needs to doctor a stick. I'm glad I play sparingly now. P.S. make sure to complain about entry fees and award packages. Also a common talking point |
