Sept. 12, 2016 cheezhed1 Men's 70 47 posts | 3N2 Shoes I've been wearing 3N2 shoes for about 9 months now and they're starting to pull apart where the top material is separating from the sole on the side of the shoe. I also ordered 3 pair for other players in our senior leagues and they're having a problem with separation in the heel area. Is anybody else having issues with the 3N2 brand? |
Sept. 12, 2016 BudLeftField 86 posts | I have had the same problem with my 3n2 cleats. Gorilla glue has held them together for awhile now. They were made in China. Just got a pair of Mizuno cleats. Made in Cambodia. I used to wear Tanels, but they were expensive and didn't last long. Boombahs have gotten a couple of bad reviews also. You might check with Allan Tanner at Team 1 Sports. He has cleats that he said are light weight and comfortable. |

Sept. 12, 2016 yellowjacket95 Men's 55 36 posts | I've never worn the 3N2s but I haven't heard good things about them. My last 3 pairs have been Boombah turf shoes. I stay away from molded cleats since I play infield and they tend to hurt my feet after a few games. The last pair (Riot Fades) had the sole separate from the shoe after 4 months at a tourney so I went to the Adidas vendor. I picked up a pair of Adidas Vigor Bounce Trail Runners (grey/onix/blue) for $70. Same shoe in various colors is available on Amazon for $61. Definitely better constructed shoe and far more comfortable! I love them and won't wear Boombah again since the Adidas are lighter and more comfortable. Good luck with whatever you choose. |

Sept. 12, 2016 CAT 200 posts | We have been wearing 3N2 shoes since 2003 and, as a team, have been thoroughly satisfied. As with any American apparel purchase, almost all are made in China. The key issue and most important to me is the service end of the product. If you have ANY issues with a 3N2 product, you can reach them via email: returns@3N2sports.com. Incidentally, I am NOT affiliated with the company but I feel that you get the most for the money in a great product and customer service team. Good luck.... |
Sept. 12, 2016 yellowjacket95 Men's 55 36 posts | Good point CAT. I don't have any experience with 3N2 Customer Service. I have worked with Boombah Customer Service and they replaced the shoe which I thought was great. I was still left with a 'flat tire' at a tourney and Adidas was my only, albeit a good one, option. |
Sept. 12, 2016 #19 Men's 70 302 posts | Wayne 37 ... That's what I thought was happening with my Boombahs ... I was careful not to leave them in the car this time ... Unfortunately, it made no difference ... The sole separated from the shoe anyway, and even faster this time than with my first two pairs of Boombahs. |
Sept. 12, 2016 yellowjacket95 Men's 55 36 posts | #19... not sure what style of Boombah shoe you have but Boombah Customer Support strongly recommended I stay away from the Riots as they have been seeing a lot of issues with the soles separating from the tops. I replaced the Riot with another type and passed the replacement turf shoes on to a friend that doesn't play all the time. |
Sept. 12, 2016 bkb555 301 posts | uh-oh...just bought 2 more pairs of Boombah Riots too....maybe that's why they were 20 and 25 bucks for a pair BUT, they feel great with extra insole and traction is superb...no separation issues yet....also used successfully Mizuno eruption turf shoes and had great luck with them.....I am sure they all are good in some respects but everyone has different feet so one person's success is another's failure |
Sept. 12, 2016 bond_171513 Men's 55 79 posts | Also had issues with my last two pair of Boombahs - the sole separating both times...switched to the Mizuno and have had no issues |
Sept. 13, 2016 Wayne 37 Men's 65 773 posts | #19 If you play in hot weather or on a hot surface, they will melt the glue also. I remember when I played adult baseball in the heat of the day here in Texas, having to stay on the grass when playing the infield. When catching it wasn't so bad. My butt shaded my feet. |
Sept. 13, 2016 Fred S Men's 85 297 posts | I have used 3N2 products for years but I have found that their quality has deteriorated over the last few years. |
Sept. 15, 2016 rocky026 Men's 65 23 posts | Had same problem 3 games sole came loose. Took pictures and sent to returns@3N2sports.com they agreed the product was not up to there standards and replaced with a new pair. Hopefully they last through Vegas. |
