| Sept. 13, 2016 DonRay52 21 posts | Texas 60's AA Team Needs Players for Vegas Our 60's AA men's team is now short a couple of players for Vegas. Down to 9 players so need to add a couple of more players. To add "exemption" players, SSUSA is telling us the players must be from the 65 age bracket, rated AA and live in Texas or one of its adjoining states. Must have a current player registration with SSUSA too. Infielder, outfielder, pitcher, any. If you meet these SSUSA requirements and want to play next weekend (18-20 Sep), call or text me ASAP. 817-727-1571. |
| Sept. 13, 2016 Capt Kirk 541 posts | You sb able to add players from the same age group and rating I.E. 60's AA rated players: 4.2(2) • ADDING / RELEASING ROSTER PLAYERS If a qualified team's roster falls below 12/13 players, the team may apply to add players until it reaches the 12/13 player level. Those players may be from the same age group in the same or lesser skill level, or equivalent. |
| Sept. 14, 2016 DonRay52 21 posts | Thanks. New to this managing stuff and never had to seek exemption players before. Pain when players commit to tournaments then drop. Very few 60 AA teams is this region, so SSUSA's ruling that players must come from the same region is detrimental to teams and to age/classification eligible players outside the region seeking a team just to play in that particular tourney. |
