My friend told me he spoke to some guys that purchased the Dudey2.0 said the bat was stiff and was no better than last years model. Called Allan Tanner he said he didn't have this problem. So I ordered the 13 endload. It came in yesterday put 80 swings on it and at 50 swings it started to open up. 300 foot fence 93 degrees, know wind, hot balls and the ball went over. Braking in much faster than last years model. Hitting this years fireballs which to me is not as hot as the balls were 3 years ago and that's the blue and red stitch balls. You can right anything on the cover of the ball but you can't full the players. Plan on putting 72 more swings on it today. Thanks Allan

Lefty,
You are very welcome. The new 2.0 bats all seem to be opening up a bit quicker than last years models. I have really noticed it in the 13" end loads. Last year there was a lot of those that were stubborn and you really had to work them over to get them on point. These new ones react in similar fashion to the balanced and 12" end loads.

Took 95 more swings today and I was never really a dudley guy just love the durability but this new model is much better than last year in my opinion. Break in period is great, pop and distance is even better than last years for my swing. Can't wait until I get 400 swings.

I purchased the new Dudley EL. Due to living in Ohio I just got the opportunity to swing indoors using a tee. I took 200 swings with the bat and after about 50 the ball was significantly coming off a lot faster. I then hit 25 balls to a specific I location at the end of the net. Again the bat appeared to be opening up more still. I also would squeeze the barrel after each 5 and could notice as I flexed it in a little more give. I have swung the original combat dirty or reebok Melee and swore by them. But this year I think I found another bat for my gamer. I play 55AAA and stand 5' 10" and weigh solid 212. I work out in off season as well as coach a local hig school baseball team and work with them. Can hit for power but try to hit for average or as the situation dictates in a game. Hope the bat durability is better than my other bats.😉
