Is This Great or oH Oh Yeah It's Great
I love softball. I have played this game since I was 19 years old. So 45 years later....what a rush I read this board and enjoy the back and forth and even the whining. Because we are still contributing. The young guys are still full of testosterone and whatever, so maybe they can't appreciate the gist of it all.

I mean seriously, how great is it to compete against guys that you played/hated/envied 25-30 years ago and now they are showing up on the same field in 2000 whatever+++++.

Here is my deal.. I have limited ability. I hit pretty good and when healthy I can field a position other than catcher or DH. I did not say play, but I can knock down a ball and throw you out...When healthy...let me emphasize there are 3rd baseman and then there are guys that play 3rd. Big difference. For me personally, I LOVE catching. I think if you are a true catcher you can affect the game. IMO.

Point of this post. I love the guys I have played with and respect them more than they know. Appreciate the managers/sponsors to the nth degree. I respect the teams I have played against more than I will ever tell them and lastly give serious thank you's to the organization that provide us a venue to participate in.

So 2016 is in the books..........2017 is yet to be determined.....bowed up..locked and loaded.....after rehab that is....thank you brothers....what a ride...........
