Age question for Feb TOC Florida
If you are 54 yrs old and will turn 55 in mid 2017, can you play on a 55 team in The TOC in February

The 2017 T.O.C. is a 2016 Season Roster Event ... As such, players are eligible to participate in the 2017 T.O.C. only if they were otherwise eligible to be on that team in the previous season ... It appears that you will not be eligible for a 55+ team until this 2017 season ... As such, you may not participate on any T.O.C. attending team above the 50+ age group this time around ... If you have any further questions, please call the SSUSA office at (916) 326.5303 and ask for an eligibility person ...

Since Winter Worlds and Winter Nationals are 2017 roster events, would bkb555 be able to play those tourneys in 55+? Just curious, as I'll be in the same situation in a couple years.

I believe you are looking for SSUSA Staff to answer but yes, as long as it it clearly stated that it is the next years tournament (i.e. Quad State a few weeks back, Winter Worlds in Fla just past or in Phoenix next week) if you are going to be 55 in 2017 you could play 55. Same applies to ISSA (believe they have 2 or 3 as well).

Yep ... In theory he could play 55+ in Phoenix next week at age 53 ... So long as he turns 54 in 2016 (and obviously, 55 in 2017)
