Trump ASA 52/300 softball
Would like feed back on this ball. One of the local Senior leagues I play in during the week, just went to the Trump 52/300 ASA softball. The ball has a "thud" or dull sound when hit and the distance is questionable at best. It's performs like a restricted softball. I swing the 2016 Miken Freak 52 bat that was designed for this ball. I am disappointed with the lack of velocity and distance. At 70 years old, my home run days are behind me, but I still have the ability to hit sold line drives and an occasional home run. This ball, in my experience so far, leaves a lot to be desired. Amy thoughts?

We have been using them in our league for the last 4 or 5 years and are very happy with them. The only fault we find with them is they lose some performance when we use the used games balls in our pickup games. I use a 30 oz Freak52(Lime one) and I am very happy with the performance with the Tattoo's.

The ONLY 2 bats so far to hit that ball with are the Monsta and the DeMarini Flipper Aftermath. This coming season Miken will have a bat that is comparable to them both. Exist speed and distance are the best with both these bats.

Monsta has several models of the Torch. I've used a Torch, the DNA and Flipper. All are much better than most ASA bats.

I play ASA with the 52/300 ball & you guys are missing the boat by not trying the white dual stamp Combat Rocket Launcher. I have 4 or 5 of the Demarini's, including different years of the Flipper Aftermath's & the Rocket Launcher crushes the 52/300 puff balls.

I also use it for our 50+ USSSA league where we hit the 40/400 ball & the Rocket Launcher flat out mashes those balls. Give it try, I bet you will be pleasantly surprised.

MN26 - Combat is out of business. Kelly's Ultimate Sports has plenty of the Rocket Launchers & they are on sale.
