| Nov. 17, 2016 southpaw Men's 70 1077 posts | Thanks For Your Prayers and Thoughtfulness A little over 3 years ago, my granddaughter was attacked by a pitbull. She was 9. She has suffered from kidney disease her entire life. There was a great outpouring from the softball community, especially here in the South where we live, with calls, cards, gifts, and especially prayer. I was continually approached at tourneys with inquiries about her condition and need for a kidney transplant as well. She has had 2 cosmetic surgeries on her face to correct the damage from the attack and all is well. And the best news of all is that this past Tuesday, our granddaughter received a kidney transplant!! Almost immediately, her new kidney began functioning at 100% and she is doing exceedingly well. Already out of ICU and will be home in just a few days. Our Lord has been very gracious to her and our family. A portion of that came through all of you; thank you from the bottom of my heart.
