Nov. 23, 2016 Webbie25 Men's 70 2410 posts | Softball Academy I have been hoping that soon there might be something for those of us that live in the west, because it is difficult and expensive to get to Florida for these Spring Trainings and other great venues. Good news for us! Steve Imlay is going to start having a traveling 'Academy' soon, working out of Phoenix. His website is: sliacademy.com and with video taping, one-on-one training, and other features it should be great. Having played on the same team with him for years, I can tell you he has helped me when I get a bit off on my swing. I look forward to hearing more from him about it. Mark Weber Old A's 65 M+ |
Nov. 23, 2016 bogie Men's 65 448 posts | Steve has worked with Bret and I and Destiny, on our swing makeover hitting series and system, and I would recommend him highly. He is not just a hall of fame hitter, but has been a teacher and a teaching softbware sales leader for many years. His academy will be well organized, sound mechanically and I am sure a great learning experience for any serious player looking to take part. He is one of the nicest guys in senior softball, has a calm patient manner, will be well organized. Best of luck to Steve and his new venture. bogie and gang. www.sportstechnique.com |
