| Jan. 8, 2017 southpaw Men's 70 1077 posts | One Day Practice Tourney in Birmingham Scheduled for Saturday, March 4, in Birmingham, Alabama. Location is George Ward Park (AKA Green Springs). I have 5 fields; 4 team RR on each field, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Finished in plenty of time in order to get home at a decent hour. Taking ONLY 20 teams; 3 game guarantee; $165 entry fee with umpires included. You supply your own 44 cor./375 comp. softballs. 1/1 count with foul; 5 HR's then walks. | Jan. 19, 2017 southpaw Men's 70 1077 posts | Hey Jim, spoke to Darian (park director) this past week. He said that there should be no problems. The city granted $250,000 to upgrading the park and tennis courts. The concession may not be completely renovated, but we can play. Thanks |
