40-MASTERS SPRING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2017 • DRAFT Game Schedules and Brackets
DRAFT Game Schedules and Brackets for SSUSA's 2017 40-Masters Spring World Championships in Cathedral City, CA, have been posted and are available from the links below and on the event's Tournament page ... As always, these DRAFT schedules are TENTATIVE, are subject to change and become final ONLY when released as "OFFICIAL" at the Manager's meeting before play commences ...

NOTE: Managers who do NOT attend the Manager meeting will be presumed to be fully informed on ALL matters (such as schedule changes, tourney formats and rules issues) discussed at the meeting. Tournament rosters are “frozen” as of the Manager’s Meeting. NO on-site player additions are allowed, as all roster changes were previously approved through the Sacramento home office ... Managers who do not attend the Manager Meeting, and do not send a representative, will be prohibited from beginning tournament play before check-in with Field Director.

The Participating Teams List Tab on the Tournament page has been activated and the Master Games & Fields Grid has also been posted ... Good luck to all!

MAJOR DIVISION RESTRUCTURE • Due to input from several teams and an accommodation by Big League Dreams to add a couple of game slots, we have revised the 40-Masters Major division as follows:

• The four-game-guarantee is maintained and ALL teams will play meaningful game(s) on Sunday;
Saturday games are unchanged, with each team playing three Round Robin seeding games as originally scheduled;
• Sunday games will begin at 7:30 AM (originally 8:00 AM) and the potential "If" game is at 6:00 PM (originally 5:30 PM); and
• All 14 teams will be seeded into a Modified Single Elimination bracket played on Sunday ... There will be an "If" game ONLY if there is a single unbeaten team in the Championship game who suffers its first loss of the entire tournament ... If both teams enter the Championship game unbeaten, that game is a "Winner Take All" Championship with NO "If" game ...

A big "Thank You" to Big League Dreams for their game inventory accommodation and to those who chose to comment to the office ... Good luck!
