Softball Burnout
Just wondering if anyone can give me some words of wisdom about getting past this feeling of Senior Softball burnout!!

Last year ended up not being fun at all! So much BS and disappointment, physical breakdown, emotional letdowns...blah blah blah !!!!

Played 55 Major + last year, well, played mostly best 2 out of 3 game brackets because there wasn't any teams to play against.....traveled too far, paid too much for rooms, ect...to make it worth the time and money! Which brings me to my second topic....please read on! Thanks.

A dik (the real Paco) lol

Paco, it was great playing against you guys in Tampa this past January. I feel your pain, playing on a major plus team is a big disappointment been there done that. As you stated not enough teams playing, worth spending all that money to play in a tournament.

In my opinion what needs to happen is that all associations elimante the plus division and put in a 8 homerun rule, plus one up. I believe all major teams can compete in this type of format, if they can't then they should be a triple A team.

Therefore when a tournament is held there will be enough teams to have a competitive and full tournament.

Not this 2 team best of 3 crap.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Paco, we just need an attitude adjustment!
Grayhitter59, we had a great tournament in Tampa. All of our game were close and we aren't happy with ISSA's decision.
We played in Montgomery this past weekend and placed 2nd behind Montgomery Swarm. There were 4 of us in 55 major.
Maybe this will solidify our ranking as 55 major. :)
I agree with eliminating one of the divisions. Then take the total number of teams and divide the remaining into three divisions. Some of the AAA teams will move to the lower division and the better AAA teams will move up to the level of the major teams.
I have promoted this in the past but didn't get any support.

Hey Bruce, my name is Vance. I played left field for the Swarm this past weekend. You guy's reputation as hitters precedes you, so everyone is going to attempt to step their game up when they play you. Enjoyed our games and look forward to many more. Your team launched some serious home runs last weekend.

Vance, your team has it all, hitting fielding and running. It was fun battling your team!!
