Anybody have a recommendation for a light weight, hard shell shin guard for a little extra protection, especially for the 2 hot corner positions? Ideally, something that can be easily removed without taking off your shoes (don't really care for soccer shin guards). Thanks

I use EVS Motocross Shin & Knee Guards. They use 2 Velcro straps that attach behind your calf muscles. They have a knee cup to protect your knee cap. Super Light Weight. I use them when pitching & playing 3rd base. They will fit under your baseball pants. I leave them on for the whole game. Wear them a few times & you won't even know they are on. I had my knee replaced & wear them to protect my knee cap & now I don't worry about blood clots form getting drilled in the shins.

$18 on eBay with $3 shipping. I bought them for a bunch for my friends that pitch & everyone loves them.
