May 9, 2017 2awesom Men's 50 308 posts | Team rating Question? Just asking a Hypothetical question. If a Major Team loses Three (3) of its best players to another team and that team is rated at the AAA level currently, does the AAA team now get bumped to the Major level? Just curious. Thanks! |
May 9, 2017 mck71 Men's 60 344 posts | Not necessarily, UNLESS one of the 3 was a Major+ player. A team is allowed 3 players from the rating directly above, so Major team can have 3 Major+ players, AAA team can have 3 Major players, AA can have 3 AAA players. IF you pick up one player that is 2 levels above OR 4 players from 1 level above, they can bump you. I believe this is correct and assume SSUSA Staff will clarify at some point if I am not (or you can call the office on West Coast hrs). Hope this helps. |

May 9, 2017 Nancy Allen Men's 55 1438 posts | Having run a team before, I can offer some advice. If you are a coach, and this applies to your team, call George, and give him details. If you are a random coach, player, or bystander, I would keep it to myself or only talk about with your local buddies. Speculating in a public forum on social media often has volatile results. Good luck wherever you play. |
May 9, 2017 mck71 Men's 60 344 posts | Simple answer: ANY team can file an appeal twice a year, please read under "RATINGS/Ratings guidelines" above. And as Nancy and I have stated, if you have a specific question, George or Tiffany can help you if you call the home office 8am - 5pm PST. |
