| May 24, 2017 southpaw Men's 70 1077 posts | Advice needed from teams in the South. The park where I hold my first Saturday in March, warm up tourney, has come under new management. It may not be financially feasible for me to have it there next year. Still trying to work something out though. Anyway, the advice I need concerns your interest and availability in a slightly different scenario. One park is in Fultondale, about 10 miles north of Birmingham. There are 3 hotels and 2 others being built within 5-7 minutes of the park for the few teams who always come in early. There are only 2 fields, so here is my proposition. Format will be the same; just a 3 game guarantee. 70's and 65's would play on Friday; 60's would play on Saturday and 50's/55's on Sunday. I could have 8 total teams each day with two 4 team RR's. We would start at 10 a.m. and leave by 6 p.m. in order for everyone to get home at a reasonable hour. Looking for some feedback; thanks, Steve |
