New Miken ASA Freak Platinum
Hello guys,
Since the board has been kind of quiet and word is building up on the street I thought I'd share some information with you on Mikens new ASA bats. A lot of senior players play in ASA leagues using either 52/300 or 52/275 softballs and this bat was specifically engineered just for these balls. If you pick up one and swing it 5 or 10 times you will immediately recognize that it hits these balls like no other ASA bat you have used previously. Mikens engineers took this design to the next level when they came up with the Platinum ASA and it far exceeds other ASA Designs. This bat breaks in easily and quickly and I have had numerous players call me after I sent them one telling me how much better than it was even right out of the wrapper than their previous fully broken in ASA bat. The ASA Platinum comes in either a 1/2 ounce endload or it comes in a balanced model. If you prefer even more end weight, the ASA DC41 has a full ounce end load with the same engineering. Does this sound familiar? Miken is making all of their top line bats with these same weight distributions so if you are using a Miken Senior, ASA, or USSSA bat, you can choose the swing weight model in each category and have a seamless transition from association to association. Smart move from the company that is leading the country in sales in pretty much every softball association right now for good reason:
The best combination of sweet spot, performance, and durability in every batncategory. They have been having trouble keeping up with demand as of late since word is spreading around but shipments are coming out again now. The do come with a full one year warranty. Another item of note:
If you happen to hit a 44/375 ball with this bat it almost reacts like a senior bat. Remember they were designed just for the lower compression balls and they hit them extremely well. If you do hit 44/375's with the bat you may very well shorten its lifespan some so keep that in mind.
If you need more information or have questions call me anytime.
