Aug. 7, 2017 SSUSA Staff 3485 posts | The Champions from the Eastern National Championships have been posted to the USA National Games match-ups list ... They are available from the WORLD MASTER CHAMPIONSHIPS 2017 • USA National Championship Games Line-up post above ... |
Aug. 7, 2017 k man Men's 65 326 posts | Not a mindreader but yerwombat may have been looking for a little more than who the overall winners were. Such as who the 2nd and 3rd place finishers were. Not to beat a dead horse but there have been posts asking why game scores can't be posted in a timely fashion. Some have suggested taking a snapshot of the bracket scores as they are posted at the end of each day. For that matter it might be time for SSUSA to invest in technology where each game is entered at its conclusion. I know I like to follow teams that my friends are on and teams we have opposed when they are at many of these tournaments. SSUSA you have a very good product, this would only make it better! |

Aug. 8, 2017 brakeman 10 posts | What is so hard about posting results?? There are no results for tournaments that were played in May & June. Are you to busy collecting $$ for the next tournament to post results?? |
Aug. 8, 2017 Cookie92 35 posts | ISSA does a great job with getting the scores out there in a quick and timely fashion and clearly USSSA has a long way to go. With technology today, this is a no brainer... but some of the old guard won't let go... |
Aug. 8, 2017 grayhitter59 Men's 60 345 posts | I have expressed my opinion about this issue a lot in the pass. I have done so because i like playing SSUSA , but I very much like how ISSA goes about posting and promoting teams that win there events, I.E. pictures of teams and individual awards and how the bracket broke down through the games played.(winners and looser) I think that maybe this web site does not allow or at least make it easy to do so. But it sure would be nice to see how teams actually did in the tournament. |

Aug. 8, 2017 pizzaboy 78 posts | I have to agree that the Issa is head and shoulders above Ssusa when it comes to posting scores and standings.Issa has the scores for every game posted at their conclusion. Its 2017 not 1978 get with it SSUSA. |

Aug. 9, 2017 Cookie92 35 posts | Dave, The EASTERN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS scores for the brackets and the playoffs are still not posted.... which is some three days after the event was completed. ISSA posts the scores from the bracket and the playoffs in almost "real time" so that people who are interested can follow the tournament on the web... It's not that hard and the longer that SSUSA goes without using technology like ISSA does, the more minor league it looks... |
Aug. 9, 2017 SS13 40 posts | Agree, no reason to be this far behind |
Aug. 10, 2017 Jon44 Men's 55 149 posts | I do not play in any ISSA tournaments, but looking at their site you can quickly see they use Quick Scores to get the results and publish schedules/brackets for their site. My local City rec league also use this same third party site/service and it is efficient and easy-to-navigate. What we don't see is the cost to implement something like this for our tournaments. Would individuals be willing to pay slightly more for the convenience of having almost instant scoring at all tournaments? I for one would be good with that, but maybe I stand alone here. |
