Hall of Fame Member DEAN PERKINS (1929-2017)
We are saddened to announce that National Senior Softball Hall of Fame member Dean Perkins, 88, died September 5 from cancer complications. Dean was known to hundreds of senior softball players throughout Northern California and the West as a manager, umpire, director and player. Dean’s teams, which he started more than two decades ago with the 60 Palo Alto Chiefs, have graduated in age over the years and culminated with the 85 Palo Alto Chiefs. We will miss Dean.
