| Sept. 11, 2017 SSUSA Staff 3483 posts | WORLD MASTERS CHAMPIONSHIPS 2017 DRAFT Game Schedules and Brackets DRAFT Game Schedules and Brackets for SESSION #1 of the LVSSA/SSUSA 2017 World Masters Championships in Las Vegas have been posted and are available from the links below and on the event's Tournament page ... As always, these DRAFT schedules are TENTATIVE, are subject to change and become final ONLY when released as "OFFICIAL" at the Manager's meeting before play commences ... NOTE: Managers who do NOT attend the Manager meeting will be presumed to be fully informed on ALL matters (such as schedule changes, tourney formats and rules issues) discussed at the meeting. Tournament rosters are frozen as of the Managers Meeting. NO on-site player additions are allowed, as all roster changes were previously approved through the Sacramento home office ... Managers who do not attend the Manager Meeting, and do not send a representative, will be prohibited from beginning tournament play before check-in with Field Director. BRACKETS NOTE Some brackets remain The Participating Teams List and the Master Games & Fields Grid for this session have also been posted ... Good luck to all! ... | Sept. 18, 2017 SSUSA Staff 3483 posts | DRAFT Game Schedules and (some) Brackets for SESSION #2 of the LVSSA/SSUSA 2017 World Masters Championships in Las Vegas have been posted and are available from the links below and on the event's Tournament page ... The same caveats as mentioned above for Session #1 abbly here as well ... BRACKETS NOTE Some brackets remain UNDER CONSTRUCTION and will be completed and posted shortly ... SCHEDULING NOTES Due to the size if the Class of 2017 inductees to the National Senior Softball Hall of Fame, the Monday schedule may appear a bit odd ... The 10 members represented 12 current or former teams, and there was very high demand by those teams to be able to attend the ceremonies for their friends and teammates ... We scheduled them accordingly ... The ceremonies are at 12:00 PM on Monday at Big Leagie Dreams and we hope all who expressed an interest in attending are able to do so ... | Sept. 20, 2017 SSUSA Staff 3483 posts | SESSION #2 REVISIONS There have been nominal revisions to Session #2 schedules, as follows ... 75-PLATINUM (Major+ and Major) Revised to accommodate three teams having to play early due to Hall of Fame inductees and one team having to play later due to flight arrival from Hawaii issues ... 70-AA Monday and Tuesday play revised to accommodate required changes to 80-Major (see below) 80-MAJOR Revised to accommodate one 80+ team and one 85+ team sharing players and not being able to play simultaneously ... NOTE: That's an impressive "problem" to have, wanting the schedule revised so seven guys can play 85's AND also with the "youngsters", the 80's ... All revisions are online with a revision date of 09/20/2017 ... Good luck everyone! ... |
| Sept. 20, 2017 SSUSA Staff 3483 posts | SESSION #1 REVISION 60-MAJOR and 60-AAA Two adverse circumstances outside of our causation or control have led to required revisions in the 60-Major and 60-AAA Divisions ... Affecting both divisions in bracket play on Saturday, the City of North Las Vegas changed the schedule on their own pre-existing tournament, causing us to lose previously allocated game slots ... There was also a team withdrawal in the 60-Major (Nebraska 60's) ... 60-MAJOR Round robin seeding games for a few teams have been changed to cover the withdrawn team ... The Championship Bracket games that were originally scheduled for Cheyenne Park have been moved to Desert BLOOM Park in Las Vegas beginning at 12:30 PM ... Teams returning to Desert BREEZE for later games will have an easier and more relaxed return ... 60-AAA The Championship Bracket games at Cheyenne Park have been moved to earlier time slots, which should also ease the return to Big League Dreams for later games ...
