Way to go Don and Kayson's Grille. I've now seen and heard of two unique things in softball this weekend. One sponsor winning three division and I watched three guys in a row strike out in a tournament this weekend!

I have the honor of being on the 50 and over and it is my first year on the team. I am very lucky to be playing with an outstanding group of men. Steve K shows class in what he puts his name on , and to win our first tournament of the year is all I could have asked for. Looking forward to an outstanding year. We not only played as a team on the field we had a blast off the field. Playball and Eat ...I love it JWIG

Well, they do play with me and include a Hall of Fame player who did not "rose" to the occassion. A crafty ole veteran who had a bad day and KO'd three times during the tournament. And......... a 300 pound fellow, sorta close to me, who lead us in average (800+) and in homeruns but just couldn't pull the trigger on a couple right down the middle! But, hey, I don't want to mention any names.

I know we will be talking about that inning for years as between us we had over 400 years of softball experience on the team and no one had every seen that in slow pitch at the top level!

First off, congratulations Don! A job well done.

Now, about the three strike outs in a row. I weight 278, not 300 to correct the record. I didn't get the pitcher's name but he did a good job pitching. However, when the pitcher gets selected to the hall of fame for this feat, he needs to take the umpire in with him cause he couldn't have done it without him.

It was a total team effort for the win against some very good teams in Montgomery. almost all big strke out are a combo of pitcher skill and a umpire that has a big zone for the 6-12 limit and speed. hope to see you soon

Don 55 Kayson's Grille is a really great AAA team. I hope they don't bump you guys up for I enjoy playing against a good time.My hitting wasn't what I was looking forward to that weekend hopefully I'll do much better in Birminham. From what I seen of your hitting Don it was top notch. If the ump would have let you hit in your normal way your hitting would have been error free. I enjoyed watching a good team play. See you around. Joe Falcon

good to hear back from you. don't sell yourself short you hit the ball very well as the restof your team. I love to play good team like your team. I know I won't pull in too much when you come up now, after you bounced those off the fence. Look forward to see you in birmingham next month.
Be easy on me.
