Elite Senior ??
Has anyone heard if the yellow Rip It elite senior will be getting the 1.20 on it anytime soon. So we can start using them in SSUSA tournaments.

batguyaz I hope they make it legal so miken will wake up an give us the old ultra 2 of 4 years ago. I seen the Rip it elite senior bat a couple of weeks ago at a tourney and it hit just as good as the ultra 2 and senior combat. If it would at least last one summer I'd buy one.

Rip-it was supposed to bring out a bat early 2007 for USSSA play. The Reaper I think was the name of the bat . Does anyone know anything about this bat ?

The Yellow Rip- it-Elite 26oz & 27oz bats were tested and passed but the 28oz did not pass and from what I've been told once Rip it gets the 28oz to pass they will approve all 3 bats. All 3 weights have to pass before they can be approved for play. There was talk that they would be approved before the end of th 2007 season but now I've been told that they will be approved very soon. Hope this helps.

BAT GUY AZ:: If, one will go to the topic of bats; look back several pages until one gets back to Nov, of 06.

Check out these 2 post: 1) RIP-ITBATS/..., dated Nov 14th. 2) RIP-IT SENIOR....., dated Nov 9th.

Both Rip-It & SS-USA, have made statements. I hit the RIP-IT SENIOR Bat, last wkend. The bat that I hit, had no approval from ASA, ISA, NSA, or SS-USA sticker on that bat.
GOOD LUCK............The STONEMAN.....

I have the Rip-it Senior ASA bat , and I love it . It has less than 100 hits on it , so it is not broken in yet . But the bat feels great and the ball jumps off of this bat . I had a Freak that I broke and it was the best bat that I had ever used . But at the same stage I would have to say that the Rip-it is performing much better than the Freak did . So I am looking forward to seeing and trying more products from Rip-it . Thanks for the info guys.

Called Bill Gately today and was told the whole issue with the senior elite yellow bat is a contract at the factory with anohter company. He also said they have anohter way to go but cannot give any details right now.
There was more but if I told you I would have to shoot you.
I also asked him about doing a DVD for seniors since his clinics have been so popular here. Maybe this summer was the answer to that one. I think they are very busy with girls softball right now. Have not seen 'Bill out on the field much. Anyway thats the news I can share.

I read on another board that Anaconda has the exclusive for 1 year for the senior Combat. Something like that.
From what has been said next year there will be more "senior" bats from other companies.
