Nov. 11, 2017 Gorilla Boy Men's 50 271 posts | Yes there is a annual SSUSA/ISA Convention at the end of this month.... This year it is in Auburn, Alabama... It is a nice deal. On Thursday night they have a exhibitors set up with all the equipment used in SSUSA/ISA softball. Click on the Convention link up above and it has all of the information. Hope this helps. I have been to 1 or 2... Here is the link to the page.... https://seniorsoftball.com/?page=30 Mighty Mike Macenko aka: Gorilla Boy No Fence Is Too Far! |
Nov. 12, 2017 curveball Men's 65 705 posts | If you are a serious senior player from a "hot bed" area of Senior Softball like Loachapoka, Notasulga, Wetumpka, or even Fishpond, it's an easy drive to the meeting to voice concerns for us who are 1000's of miles away with legitimate concerns about the game, but unable to attend because of travel expense. Would be interesting to know how many actual locals will be at this meeting voicing opinions of the masses. Care to expose the person selecting this location? |
Nov. 12, 2017 DaveDowell Men's 70 4296 posts | curveball ... The convention site (normally) alternates East/West to match the national geographic range of team participation ... This is an "East" year ... Next year will be "West", like last year was ... The location is determined at the current meeting for the following year by the officers of the SSUSA and ISA, our affiliated association, for this joint convention ... The two associations hold separate independent rules committee sessions ... |
