If we have to use the Trump can the producers of this ball get it back to the same specs it was made 5 years ago?

Thanks:

James

NYGNYY At least you got a reply I asked in a post awhile back when the current contract with Trump balls was up got crickets for a reply. And JamesLG Trump currently has the capabilities to produce a decent ball they already make 44/375 ball for Alan Tanner at Team 1 sports that is a great ball.

What is so different about Alan Tanners ball? If it is the 44/375 are they not the same ball? Just curious. I myself like to hit the X-Rock in Vegas....

IMO it is the cover just like what has made the Baden ball a piece of s--t. The old Baden had a composite cover the new one's have a synthetic cover. I would assume tanners ball like the rock has a composite or leather cover.

Check out tanners ball...it says minimum 44/375 other balls say maximum 44/375.
We wish we could hit tanners balls. We do buy his and use them in our Crossville Tn., hitting club and love them!

I have a lot of respect for SSUSA in this particular situation it's pretty obvious it's a money thing to the organization situation that is occurring. That has to be the answer on why the ball which is not liked by most people is being kept and won't be replaced.

This Summer I took 3 Trump Stotes I n near new condition that I bought 5-6 years ago and compared them to three brand new Trump Stotes we currently use and there is a definite difference in performance. They are near identical up to about 275' but at that point the newer ball dies and the older ball keeps traveling. I don't know what they changed but they definitely perform different.

Thanks:

Also the Team1 Sport balls are Micro-Cells and have no Assoc stamp on them if I remember right which explains their good performance. The only thing I didn't like about them was they were composite cover. I am a leather cover guy even though they may cost more.

KUDOS FOR SSUSA USING THE ROCK AT THE WINTER NATIONALS THIS PAST WEEKEND IN NAPLES. I

DIDN'T HEAR ONE COMPLAINT THE WHOLE WEEKEND. OF COURSE THE FIELDS BEING 325" EVENS IT

OUT A BIT. AS TO JETHRO USING ALANS BALLS IN HIS HITTING CLUB IN TENNESSEE, THOSE BALLS

ARE MORE LIKE A ROCK THAN A STOTE. (MICROCELL COVER) DIFFERENT COVER THAN A ROCK BUT

STILL GO LIKE STINK!! I HAVE A FEW OF THEM IN MY B.P. BALLS WHEN I WANT TO BREAK IN A BAT

QUICK. (AND PUMP UP MY EGO....LOL!)

I haven't hit a ball over a 300' fence in years. I hit 2 solo shots at the Lee Sports Complex last weekend, both unintentional. I hit hard line drives with some backspin, and they just carried out.

I believe from earlier conversations that the Team 1 Ball by Alan Tanner was Synthetic and not composite cover..... I could be wrong but what is the difference between a synthetic and composite cover. So the balls they hit in Vegas are Premium Leather?

Its real simple guys, the multi layer balls are a 460 lbs core in a padded cover to fool the tester. Yes a composite will be better then a synthetic but the synthetic will still fly. Both the rock and the relabeled team 1 ball have been around since 2003. The team 1 ball was the ak-mc-375-ss

on the 52's you don't need to over swing....for that matter you don't need to gorilla swing on the other balls......
