Thank you to the many responders to this call for players.. first the team formerly known as RDG Chattanooga has a new name: Southern Thunder 60s 3A and we have a full roster with all of our additions. Our new title sponsor will be announced soon. We do have a waiting list and a tryout will be required for the team in the future.
Second, we have had a great response to this call, so great that we are going to help other coaches that need players find the players required to fill their rosters also. Multiple age groups and ratings are still needed.
Our mission is to grow Senior Softball! Want to play? Contact me and I will forward your name to coaches who want to remain anonymous at this time. Must be in or around the state of Tennessee.

Since Jethro's team is already full, just contact Southern Silverbacks directly (so he doesn't screen the best ones first!). You don't need to go through an "agency" to find a good team!
We already have our funding and only 1 spot left on a team that is 60+ AAA/Major caliber. Prefer Tennessee player preferred, but not necessary.
We are looking to win in Dalton this year and we are loaded.

I want to assure everyone Jethro is not operating a player agency. He's a big-time softball player from way back who is trying to promote senior softball and make it grow. He has reached out to many of his old contacts and put them to use. I know for fact several new players have come back to the game by reaching out to Jethro. KC Jim needs to get his facts straight before putting out info he knows nothing about. I would be careful reaching out to KC Jim as he could be full of smoke.

Jimbo1101...no one doubts Jethro's integrity or desire to grow senior softball. He reached out to me. As a former state director, commissioner of men's and women's premier leagues, tournament director of qualifiers, regional, state, and matonal tourneys (including a black national in Cleveland, and over 30 years of managing NIT national tourney teams, no one should question that I have the same intentions (especially the uninformed). He has referred players to me, and I thank him. Players can just reach out directly now (and have) to another open option.

Sounds to me like senior softball has two great ambassadors for the game. Players looking for teams and vise versa have two great resources to contact. By the way, I've heard Jethro has a softball hitting club in Crossville, TN. He's trying to tailor it after the Woodlawn Hitting Club in Florida. You can get more information about his club at www.facebook.com/Crossville-Tennessee-Hitting-Club.
