Discussion: Rosters question?

SSUSA Staff,
Is it going to be legal for a guy on the east side of the Mississippi river to play on a west coast team or vice versa again this year in Major plus?
NO ... The National Rules Rules Committee this morning clarified rule §13.1(2)C. to require that any 50+ thru 70+ Major Plus "out of region" player(s) must come from the same side of the Mississippi River as the home state of the team seeking to add them to the roster ... Vote was PASSED: 13-0
What about 40 major+??
The 50+ thru 70+ Major Plus rules package includes [1] Seven runs per ½-inning at bat; [2] Nine allowed HR's; [3] Mercy rule at 15 runs after five innings; and [4] NO "snowbird" roster players, but up to two allowed "out of region" players ...

The 40-Masters rules package (all rating levels) includes [1] Five runs per ½-inning at bat; [2] Six (AAA), eight (Major) or ten (Major+) allowed HR's; [3] No mercy/run rule; and [4] States and bordering states only for roster composition, with otherwise eligible "snowbird" players allowed, but NO "out of region" players ...

Sweet! I like the no mercy rule for 40's.
Ooooooooops. I was thinking of this as no flip flop. I will tame my excitement. lol
