| Dec. 1, 2017 B.J. 1105 posts | GLOVES/MITTS Staff, I'm confused on the below new glove/mitt rule.. first it states glove and mitts may be worn by any player..but then it states that mitts can only be used by the catcher and first baseman §3.6 • GLOVES – Proposal to allow the use of mitts by any defensive player – “Gloves and mitts may be worn by any player.” , but mitts may be used only by the catcher and first baseman • PASSED 12‐0 |
