GLOVES/MITTS
Staff, I'm confused on the below new glove/mitt rule.. first it states glove and mitts may be worn by any player..but then it states that mitts can only be used by the catcher and first baseman

§3.6 • GLOVES – Proposal to allow the use of mitts by any defensive player – “Gloves and mitts may be worn by any player.” , but mitts may be used only by the catcher and first baseman • PASSED 12‐0

B.J. ... The redline text is NEW language and the strikeout text is REMOVED language ... Look at it again, and you will notice that mitts may now be worn by any defensive player, not just C and 1B ...

“Gloves and mitts may be worn by any player.” , but mitts may be used only by the catcher and first baseman ... Your post didn't copy the font attributes ...

I think for fun a team should show up to play one game and all 10 players wear catchers mitts. The wont win but it would be funny to watch.

I run faster for gap shots or pop ups without the glove. Then I get to rest for a few minutes during the argument about "you're supposed to use your glove.

Vinny ... One of the earliest 40-Masters teams when the 40's program was in its infancy was out of Reno ... They were called "Ten Catchers", but didn't play like it ... They were really good!
