TOC LAST WEEKEND
Dave and staff....another well organized well run tourney...with beautiful weather...wish you would go back to the shirts instead of a medal that is just going to go in a drawer though....and next year nix the Mrs. Senior Softball thing...it has NOTHING to do with softball and made the banquet even longer...that was the consensus of the conversation I was overhearing from other tables and out table included. Overall though....great job Dave!

Agree with you USMC21. Our tables had the same conversation the medal goes in the drawer never to be seen again but the shirt is worn.

And while you're at it, just publish the names of the teams and the tournaments they won. You don't have to read them all off. The program is too long. One guy at our table was actually asleep.

I'd assume that reading each team's name is a simple way to say thank you for attending and participating in the event. I know it's time consuming, but everyone likes to know they are appreciated; it doesn't hurt. I'm also not taking issue with the comment.

I was disappointed in the fact that on Thursday of the skills competition,I tried to get an XL jersey and was told they were all.sold out,but would have more the next day....the next day I got the same answer....how does a big tourney like this run out of jerseys....sime of us first timers, and mayne never ever again timers now have nothing but a participant medal to hold onto, and probably be stuck in a drawer somewhere....

Thanks for attending and here are a few quick response items ...

USMC21 and BK28 ...
• We did the free shirt giveaway for 11 years and thought a classy medal might be a nice change of pace ... Maybe not so much so, even though we did hear favorable comments about getting the medal! ...
• The Ms. Senior USA/Universe and the Louisville Slugger Warrior presentations were designed for some diversity of content at the TOC Champions' Banquet ... We have been affiliated with both entities for a while ...

TexasTransplant and TommyPalmer1210 ...
• Honoring the teams participating is important to us ... Up until a couple of years ago, we had a "Parade of Champions" across the stage, where each manager was introduced and a commemorative picture with Terry and Fran was taken ... We changed to the current time-saving format of an introduction and allowing a few seconds for the team to stand and be recognized ... We don't envision that being eliminated ..
• The Champions' Banquet served over 1,500 free meals in a first-rate, sit-down, plated format ... It's certainly not a required attendance function, so if a couple of things we do aren't what you desire, you're not under any economic detriment or obligation to attend (although we hope you do!) ...

magsdad ...
• We previously gave you a comprehensive explanation of your "issue" in the separate thread you started ... Have you contacted our office to add your name/size/quantity to a potential re-order? ...

Still though, a great, well run tourney with beautiful weather....the last time we were down there and won it the weather sucked! You guys did an excellent job!
