The Stanislaus Senior Softball Association in Modesto, CA has unlimited home runs, our Tuesday night league starts at age 45 and up, we have found that by allowing unlimited HRs we have less problems hitting back thru the middle to avoid outs. Its safer for our pitchers (who are required to wear face masks and shin guards) and we still have a 5 run per inning rule. Our fences are not 300 feet and we still get our games finished in about 60 minutes or so. All of our 4 men's leagues have no HR limits and everyone likes to hit HRs and I would like to think that we are a "high Level" senior league.

Our 55+ Mon & Wed morning league has unlimited homeruns in the upper division. The lower divisions have shorter fences and a 1-up rule with other over the fence hits being doubles. Upper division has 300+ fences and uses the Alan Tanners 44/375 Microcell ball, the lower division has 260 fences and uses the 52/300 ball.

All divisions have the full count, with 9 innings or 2 hours. Pitching screens are optional as are helmets for any player who wishes to use one.
