Top Gun Class Act
had the misfortune of not using my glove to stop a line drive at short in a 60+ game friday in las vegas, and instead used my head. my tournament ended friday afternoon with a ride to the local er. thanks to everyone who hung around the hospital until I got out and got me and my car back to where I was staying. Went out to watch the finals at sunset on sunday morning and some of the top gun 60 major team came up to say hello (not my team). they gave me a card that they had all signed and it really touched me. Thank you guys, meant alot to me. what a class act, and display of human kindness. hope to see you all at the next tournament.

Al, wishing you a speedy recovery.
The brotherhood of softball is a tremendous thing.
I too had a similar situation. This past week I had many well wishers came up to me, Alan of NVF, several player from Talaga CT, Tim who ran the tournament, and a few others from various team who were aware of the serious injury I suffered in Ft. Myers. Classy to say the least when guys who you are competing against take an interest to remember the competition.
My injury still prevents me from competing so I managed the team *(It's just not the same as being able to hit, catch throw in the games but until then, managing is the next closest option.)
To steal a quote: " I shall return!"
