Team Ratings
I am looking at the rules for team ratings and they seem very concise, with little room for any "gray area".
Yet in looking at some team ratings adjustments prior to June, there seem to be some wiggle room vs. the rules such as number of tournaments etc.
Or at my age I could be reading and not quite comprehending correctly what the rules state.

A big part of the problem when it comes to understanding rules is that not just here in this case but in just about any organization or entity is that rules are written by legal eagles to be interpreted by like individuals.

NYGNYY, if you are a team's coach with a specific question, I would call George at the main office. Asking the question on this board is probably only going to get you answers that are not very helpful in what you are asking. Hopefully what you are referencing is https://seniorsoftball.com/?page=28 which I also believe is very concise. Speculation does not help when a person does not know all of the specific details in an individual team's situation. George and SSUSA are very good in assessing those details, and as a former coach, I can tell you that they are good to work with.
