Reno 60
With only 4 teams in the 60 Major Plus in Reno, why cant this division be completed on Saturday? Makes no sense to have only 4 teams play the full 3 days!!!

In theory, I guess that could be do-able, assuming finding Director and Umpire coverage and getting the consent of the facilities ... The "finish on Saturday" games would be four in a row and the times, assuming no schedule slippage, would be ...

• If at RANCHO SAN RAFAEL ► 5:00, 6:30, 8:00 and 9:30 PM ("If") ... OR
• If at GOLDEN EAGLE ► 8:00, 9:30 and 11:00 PM and 12:30 AM Sunday ("If")

Is this what you had in mind? ...

Dave I appreciate you and your reply.....I know there's are other factors involved in scheduling the tournaments, but with only 4 teams in one division, We play the 8 & 9:30 games on Friday, can't we come back later that evening and start bracket play?

I know i'm just blowing wind and i know it's been suggested before,. Just makes no sense to me to have 50 guys stay in Reno for 3 whole days :(

At least have the championship game played by 11am on Sunday???

No worries, I get it ... Scheduling an event of this magnitude is a very complex process, with probably a lot more factors than many others realize ... That's not any kind of a brag, just a simple truth ... The 60's (Major and Major+) went "early" on Friday because there were multiple "late start requests" in the 26-team 40-Masters, forcing them to the late(r) game slots ... The earliest Friday night bracket starting times would be 8:30 PM ... Most teams, regardless of age, resist such a time split ...

As for Sunday, there are six divisions finishing at Golden Eagle and ALL of them have their Championship games at 2:00 PM ... Nobody got an "early out" this year ... Please take a look at the Master Planning Grid for a perfect illustration of just how tight the schedule turned out ...

I think you should consider changing the championship game to the Carson City (crappy ass fields) so people playing 60 major plus won't complain about staying an extra day.

On the bright side you would only probably have to do that once before people get it...................

I think anyone from our tournament who ends up in Carson City over Memorial Day is just asking for trouble ... They are hosting the All-World "Midnight Madness" event with around 250 teams playing 24 hours for about 2½ days! ... Alcohol is involved! ... No thanks for me! ...
