May 14, 2018 OZ40 549 posts | Strike board/mat Was watching a game today in the middle division of our league. We all use a 2 x 3 plywood board for a strike mat. The batter swung at a pitch and the ball hit the strike board and bounced straight up, the batter caught the ball and flipped it to the catcher. I thought he should be out and the umpire called dead ball...... out, or dead ball? |
