Homer14 Kenneth Herron 2641 Nottingham Rd Gate City, VA. 24251 Email: krherron@mounet.com Phone: 423-360-5836 Discussion: Player looking for team in 55+ or 60+ Division for next year, 2019... I am 62 years old. I will be 63 December 7th, 2018. I am looking to play (next year, 2019) for a sponsored travel team that plays in major tournaments, such as the Smoky Mountain Senior Classic. I'm willing to travel. I played for three extremely good open teams during my softball career, but they only played local tournaments and I never got the opportunity for a major coach/manager to watch me play to evaluate my skills. I have 20 years experience, mostly as a pitcher, but with lots of experience at first base. In a pinch, I have played second or third base, plus I don't object to being catcher. I'm a power hitter...I have hit a homerun over the fence of a baseball field with an old technology aluminum bat. But I'm also capable of hitting base hits... I'm willing to hit for a homerun or a base hit, depending on what the team and coach need. I've won trophies as MVP and Homerun leader in tournaments, plus I have several All Tournament trophies. I'm in great physical shape. Mainly, I'm a team player and I have a good personality. I am very competitive and I want to win every game, but I'm also humble in the event that my team loses. |
