Discussion: National championship shoe awards
The 2017 National Championship was held last October. I am checking to see if any of the other winners have received their shoes which were awarded as a prize. 9 months have passed and we have not.
Yes, we received our shoes from the World's at Rock N Reno tournament, which was practical because we were there to pick them up rather than shipping around California, but also was eight months after winning.
Question, my team won the 55M National Championship last year during the Worlds event. We received back packs. That's it. Were shoes also part of the prize package? I am not trying to turn this into a conversation about prizes, or lack of prizes. I don't need anyone telling me that they play for the love of the game and not prizes. All I want to know is if shoes were part of the package. Thank you.
jimperry19 ... NOPE ... The shoes were for the Triple Grand Slam (which included winning the National Championship) but their teams also won their division brackets ...
