| July 10, 2018 TimMcElroy 942 posts | Bert Bennett Memorial (formerly Quad-State Shootout) Players- I am EXTREMELY sorry for the delay in releasing start times for this weekend's tournament in Westminster, MD. We have more entries this year than I projected, with a number of them coming in at the 11th hour. The current schedule (draft) calls for 7:30am starts and 9:30pm games on Saturday. It would also result in long breaks for some divisions. I've got paperwork in now for an additional park on SAT so that we can give everyone a more reasonable schedule. I expect final approval on the 2nd facility in the next hour or two. Once approved, I'll get the start times out. Thanks for your patience and continued support. Tim McElroy Tournament Director |

SSUSA should have them up on the tournament page in a little while (check there in about an hour). Carroll County Sports Complex 9225 Littlestown Pike Westminster, MD Men's 50, 55, 60, 65 and Women's divisions Salt Box Park 2201 Gillis Falls Road Woodbine, MD >> Salt Box will be used on Saturday (only) for Men's 40s division games. ALL SUNDAY PLAY WILL TAKE PLACE AT CARROLL COUNTY SPORTS COMPLEX. Start times and game schedules for this weekend are attached to this message. We had a high number of last minute entries and payments this year that resulted in tracking down a 2nd facility. I appreciate your patience while waiting for us to do that and get the schedule taken care of. Here is a quick rundown on what to expect this weekend- Men's 60 & 65: Friday and Saturday at Carroll County Sports Complex Men's 50 & 55: Saturday and Sunday at Carroll County Sports Complex Men's 40: Saturday at Salt Box Park and Sunday at Carroll County Sports Complex Women's 40: Saturday and Sunday at Carroll County Sports Complex. ROSTERS: Please be sure to update your roster with SSUSA before 12:00pm (EST) on Friday. This is extremely important. CHECK-IN: All players must check in with the site director at your park before taking the field. >>>>>>>>>>>.. Salt Box Park check in is near the F1 pavillion. Carroll County check in is near the concession stand >>>>>>>>>>> Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled start time. >>>>>>>>>>> Be at the field, ready to play 30 minutes prior to your scheduled start time. GAME BALLS: Coaches will receive their game balls at check-in. You must hit the SSUSA / Trump Stote balls that are provided at the tournament. No other balls are permitted. Please do not bring balls from any other sanction, etc. If you need to purchase additional balls, you can do so at the park (cost is $5 per ball). SPECIAL REQUEST: Many players in the region have my personal cell phone number. With a high number of teams participating this weekend, I do not have the time to answer calls from each and every player. Please help me out with the communication tree.
