| Sept. 23, 2018 stick8 1991 posts | Yes we, Ohio Elite won the 55 major. Second was WC Thunder and Third was So Cal 55s. After that I’m not certain. WC Thunder did beat us in the first game of the finals by 4 but then forfeited the if game due to some of their players getting injured. They made quite a run. I guess a win is a win but it was weird when they walked over announcing their forfeit. Sure didnt feel like a normal tournament win. I was thinking about one of those moments last night and telling the story on a game that I wasn't supposed to do, a great story of course. The fact that 2 teams from the Midwest were in the finals speaks volumes to the softball that is played here. You should be proud of how well your team played. Ohio Elite is a great bunch of guys as is WC Thunder. Congratulations to both teams. |

We happened to play, and lost to each of the top three teams this weekend and throughly enjoyed the competition. Needless to say, we are all tired and sore having lost our first bracket game (Ohio Elite) and making it to Sunday. Eleven games over 4 days will do that to you.
