Looking to hone my skills age 65+
I just returned from Mesquite Nevada, and ended at the Huntsman Games in St George Utah. I played with Brantford-Nissan Canadian Team in the 65+ AA bracket, we came in second in Mesquite to a New York AAA . In Utah we went undefeated. How Cool is that for my first Rodeo? This was my first ever senior league play. Santa Clarita CA does not have senior leagues so I played just on Sunday morning B-Open league. I play fist base could play second with some practice am now pitching but wish to not pitch anymore...it’s just too dangerous. I had to use their bats but still managed to hit fairly well over 700 not sure if that is good or not.
I go by Larry and am 6’2” so 1st is a natural position. I’m right hand throw and hit.
Boy am I sore. We ended up playing 12 games lost two to New York. But actually were ahead in championship game in Mesquite but errors gave it away.
I had no idea that Seniors my age could play at such a high level. The intensity of our games was unreal. I wish to hook up would prefer to keep driving to minimal distances and will definitely get my own bat so any suggestions on where I can get a good deal will be listened to.
I have no idea where a good league near me is so I can play during week.
I am open to any and all suggestions.
Thank you

If you click on his member name, it says that he is from Valencia. I do not know that area well enough to state how close that is to Santa Clarita but am guessing that is where he plays softball.
