Bordering State Rule
If the country is divided by regions why is there a bordering state rule for forming teams instead of making all players on the same team come from the same region?

Bordering state rule applies to major level and below...while major plus has rule of residency in either side of mississippi river based on where the team is set up in. (If a team is set up in east coast, it can have any players from anywhere on east side of mississippi river)

Rick35 ... That is a complete mis-statement of the roster eligibility rules as it relates to all ages of play except the 75+ division ... For age 70+ and younger, ALL divisions of play (Major+, Major, AAA and AA) may draw players only from the home state and its bordering states ... All except Major+ teams 40+ through 70+ may also have "Snowbird" card players ... Major+ teams in the 40+ through 70+ may NOT have "Snowbird" players, but MAY have no more than TWO "out of region players" ... The "out-of-region" players may come from East or West of the Mississippi River relative to the team's home state ... Age 80+ and 85+ division teams have no geographic residency restrictions ...
