Looking for a 65 Midwest Team for 2019
Turning 65 in 2019 and want to move up to a 65 team. Last years team is staying at 60.
6'6" 245 pounds, throw right, bat left, play 1st Base and Catch. Willing to play corner outfield spots for an inning or two when needed. Had a knee replacement so lateral movement is not as good as it used to be in the outfield. Line drive hitter that still has occasional home run power.I know some 65 team in Midwest needs another 1st baseman/catcher because there is such a shortage of us in senior softball! Based in Missouri so can play for teams based in Missouri, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kentucky or Tennessee. References available from current team. If you need a player who is willing to travel and pay their own way, please text or call Dave at 314-805-7987. Thanks.

Forgot to add that I played 60 Major for the last few years so cannot play on a AA team. Might fit on a AAA team if you don't already have 3 Major players or can play on a Major 65 team. Thanks.

Dave is a modest and humble guy so I'm going to provide my endorsement regarding his talents and his value:

This guy can play and is one of the best teammates a squad could hope for. He doesn't complain about where he is hitting in the line up, he doesn't whine about having to sit an inning to platoon; he does what is in the best interest for his team to win.

I was fortunate to be able to play the 2018 tourney season with Dave and the (mis)fortune of having to play AGAINST him for several years before that!

Dave is a strong 1st baseman with really good hands, capable of scooping low throws and hauling in high ones...he's a big target! At catching, he isn't just a 'retriever'. He keeps tabs on the hitters, positions the defense, and suggests to the pitcher where to throw the next one.

Midwest teams: you'll do yourself a big favor by picking this guy up. Just do it and send me a 'thank you' email later.
