| Dec. 29, 2018 cheezhed1 Men's 70 47 posts | Miken Freak Pro Jason Kendrick 2pc compared to Worth Wicked XL 2pc I am not a bat Guru but would like feed back on these bats. I purchase the the Worth Wicked XL 2pc from Alan Tanner and am very pleased with the bat so far. I have a softball buddy who is interested in the Miken Freak Pro 2pc. One of the bat dealers told him they are the exact same bat with a different cosmetic appearance. Input please. |
| Dec. 29, 2018 Tri18 352 posts | Cheez, Great question but incorrect information that you received. I am intimately familiar with both bats as I have worked with them since their inception. The Kendrick bat has a 14” barrel and the Wicked Pro XL has a 13.5” barrel. 1/2” difference isn’t a big deal right? ...Not so fast, but a 1/2” or a 1/2 oz. can and does change a lot in a bat. There are other subtle weighting differences as well between these 2 bats. Both are fantastic in durability and performance. The Wicked XL gets a slight bonus in forgiveness and is the top selling senior bat right now. I’m glad you are enjoying it as are hundreds of guys across the country. As the weather begins to turn and spring draws closer, I am sure we will see even more people swinging the Worth bat. Best of luck to you this year. | Dec. 31, 2018 Hail Ragna! Men's 55 40 posts | Tri18, I have been told that the bats are basically the same..1/2 inch, please! I guess from all of your working with the engineers is paying off. Why is your bat the number one selling bat in the country? Unbelievable. I heard the Jason Kendrick was selling the best out of the Miken and Worth bats. Just saying... That gets old! I have heard great things about the Dudley HotW. What about the Adidas? The best part is that there is only so many things you can do with Composite.. 18 years they have been working on Composite. I’m thinking you’re talking about your signature model. What period of time has it been the best seller? Is this your best seller or do you know Miken, Adidas and Dudley national sales information? |
| Jan. 1, 2019 Tri18 352 posts | The Worth Wicked Pro XL has been Miken and Worths top selling senior bat of all of the senior bats they offer since it’s introduction in Las Vegas and still is as of January 1, 2019 according to what is provided to me by them. I do not ask for sales figures from other bat companies although sometimes they are provided to me. Hail, believe me if you worked closely with the engineers as I do you would know there are ALOT of new things in composites especially related to bat manufacturing. We are already working on new technologies for the 2020 bat lines that have changes in them as well. I won’t speak for other companies but I am quite sure they would tell you the same thing. Any company that sits still in this day and age with how fast and far reaching technology is going, is going backwards. Trust me, Miken and Worth and going full steam ahead working on new and better products. Happy New Years to each of you, AT18 |

| Jan. 1, 2019 Tri18 352 posts | No sir, The new JB bat is a 12” barrel and it was brought up to the same specs as all of the Miken senior bats for 2019. If you like a 12” barrel bat, it’s phenomenal and it’s definitely our best 12” senior bat to date. I will be doing a video on it soon and it will be on Facebook and also on my You Tube page. There is a new video on you tube that I made early this morning showing Mikens Freak X USSSA bat. You will see how good it is and imagine what a senior barrel will do....! | Jan. 8, 2019 RoyHobbs 20 posts | I purchased a new 27 ounce Worth Wicked XL 2-piece softball bat from Alan Tanner approximately 1-2 months ago and can't say enough about his professionalism and about how well my bat is now performing. When I initially began to start breaking it in, I personally found it to be a little stiff. Nevertheless, even though it felt a little stiff, the ball was traveling almost as far as my broken in "gamer" bats, which had significantly more swings. However, the sweet spot was huge and was extremely difficult to miss. Probably after about 300-400 swings, my new 27 ounce Worth Wicked XL definitely began to change. It began to sound different, it began to have great feedback and the distance was incredible. I must admit that in my case, it took a little time and hard work to break it in but it is now absolutely RIDICULOUS. It is the best bat that I own without question. As a matter of fact, I like it so much that I purchased a second 27 ounce Worth Wicked XL 2-piece softball bat from Alan Tanner, which I used for the first time today. This second bat definitely seems hotter out of the wrapper than my first bat did. With no helping wind and after only a few swings, I was hitting line drives and consistently hitting balls well over 300 feet. Have fun playing softball and the best of luck to everyone in 2019. |
