Hit the new Reaper bat from Rip It
Had a chance to hit the new Reaper bat this morning. The bat is end-loaded and feels more like the org Freak but hits like the Anaconda Combat bat toned down a noch or two.
I still prefer the Senior ASA bat in swing feel as do most of us that hit the Reaper because our swing speeds are slow and the Senior bat is very forgiving. If we could hit like Homerun Bill or those other power guys the Reaper would be the bat of choice.
So for you hitting studs that want a heavier bat to swing, end loaded and all I think the Reaper might work well. Anyway, we liked it.

I do not think this bat can be any better than Combat or Miken. Never heard of this brand before but my son has. I might have a chance to hit this bat with him (on a visit to see my new grandson). I guess he knows somone that has this bat or can get one, if so I will let you know but don't get your hopes up.So many new bats are just a market BS job to get us to buy another bat, my guess is the Rip It is just that.

Is this company part of Worth, Easton or someone else. I live in Calif and never heard of them.
I am going to join my son tonight in dity league games. they are short players and I am going to catch. Seems Sean (my son) can get a Reaper to hit tonight.

So can anyone tell anything more about this company ?

No, it's a new company, about a year or so old for these bats mentioned here. Based I believe, in Fla. but I could be wrong on location.Yellow Elete Senior and black Rip.it are good bats. Havent't been able to get ahold of the Reaper.
I believe they also have a large hold in the fast pitch bat arena especially in college ball. East coast most likely.

I've used it and so has others in SSUSA. Not sure on the "official" status because there is no 1.20 BPF on them.
NCSSA has banned it...but probably only because of the lack of BPF on it.
Call them up. 1-916-326-5303 If you don't ask you won't find out. But then again you may not anyway. It may still be in limbo....

In terms of rip It and who they are. I am retired from the softball/baseball world after 30 years and follow the companies for lack of anything better to do.

Clearview Systems aka Rip It is based out of Miami with offices in Orlando and Chandler Az. As a whole they are a fastpitch companiy with faceguards (reg for girls) and f/p bats. In that market they are quickly becoming a powerhouse in sales.

For senior softball they just got in the game last fall and to keep this short, will soon be a major problem for some of the 'other' companies. These guys are very sharp, move fast and seem to have a inside know-how about bats.

I played with the young guys last night in B league. We did have the Reaper bat size 28. Every player including me used it for both games.
I am shocked the umps let us use it. It seems more like a toned down U2 than anythimg else. I am no bat expert but do not think this thing is or will be ASA approved. It had more pop than my Freak and even more than my USSSA JH Worth. I was impressed and so was the team.
My son was most impressed, he is 6.4" and was a middle LB for Arizona State. For the big strong guys it was great, for me I found it a little hard to swing since it is clearly end loaded and stiff.
